Questions before you order.

We clarify the important details before production starts.

Should I choose BOPP or PVC?

BOPP is a cost-effective, versatile choice for everyday manual or machine packing. PVC particularly suits hand packing where quiet, controlled unwinding, conformability and presentation matter.

Which adhesive suits intensive packing?

Hot-melt usually provides fast initial tack for intensive packing. The final choice still depends on board surface, package weight, temperature and transport conditions.

Can tape carry our logo?

Yes. Logos, text, contact details, patterns and warnings are available. Colour count and print area depend on material, dimensions, design and quantity.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum depends on dimensions, material, printing and production method. Include your required quantity; the exact minimum is confirmed in the quotation.

When will my order arrive?

Include your required arrival date. Production and delivery timing are confirmed after the specification and artwork are agreed.

Printed plastic packing tapes for sealing and branding

Printed plastic packing tapes combine reliable carton sealing with a company logo, text or warning message. Custom printing makes shipments recognisable, supports your visual identity and puts handling instructions directly on the package.

Select tape according to backing, adhesive, board surface, package weight, temperature and packing method. BOPP and PVC options are available for hand packing and automatic or semi-automatic carton sealers.

BOPP and PVC: the differences

BOPP tape is widely used and cost-effective for everyday carton sealing. Acrylic, hot-melt or solvent-based adhesives allow different BOPP products to suit general warehousing, fast packing and more demanding storage or transport.

PVC tape conforms well to the packaging surface and generally unwinds quietly and in a controlled way. It particularly suits manual packing and presentation shipments where ease of use, strong adhesion and print quality matter.

Roll sizes, adhesives and performance

Printed tapes come in different widths, lengths and total thicknesses. Alongside standard hand rolls, longer machine rolls are available, with core diameter, winding and unwind force matched to the carton sealer.

Acrylic, hot-melt and solvent-based adhesives differ in initial tack, final bond strength, temperature resistance and compatibility with board surfaces. Consider recycled board, dust, long storage periods and cold or changing temperatures when selecting the combination.

Logo printing and printing processes

Tape can carry logos, contact details, repeating patterns, promotional messages, handling instructions and warnings. Single- and multicolour artwork is adapted to tape width and the production process, including print area and repeat length.

Depending on the process, printing is applied to the tape surface or between the backing and adhesive. Colours are usually specified with Pantone references, and a digital artwork proof is supplied for approval before production.

Applications

Printed plastic tapes close e-commerce parcels, shipping cartons, retail packaging, industrial goods and warehouse or logistics packages. They suit businesses combining routine packing with branding or informative markings.

Warning messages identify fragile, perishable or special-handling goods. A repeated logo or distinctive design may make opening and tape replacement more noticeable, but ordinary printed tape does not replace dedicated security tape.
